About the Role The legal counsel/ senior legal counsel will be the first dedicated in-house lawyer at the family office, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The role covers the full legal, corporate governance and regulatory remit of a sophisticated, multi-asset portfolio spanning across public and private markets, structured credit and real estate development, held through a holding company structure with entities incorporated in the UK and Jersey, but UK tax resident. Essential Experience & Skills • Management/supervisory experience in temporary accommodation, housing, residential services, property, hospitality, facilities or similar., • Strong people and operational management skills., • Experience supporting people with diverse or complex needs., • Ability to manage conflict, complaints and challenging situations., • Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, equality and professional boundaries., • Knowledge of health and safety and basic property management., • Strong organisation, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills., • Ability to prioritise and respond effectively to emergencies., • Competent with email, spreadsheets, records and reporting systems.
