As a studio-based role, this position also involves supporting the wider team and office with occasional non-design operational tasks, particularly during busy event periods. \n We would like to hear from candidates who have 12 months experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of brand campaigns and event-based design, as well as a solid grasp of print production and core design principles such as layout, typography, colour, and composition. You will be passionate and motivated and will have the opportunity to contribute to design projects from concepts to completion. You will be highly adaptable, tenacious, excited to learn and committed to supporting projects from initial ideas generation through to final delivery and installation. \n \n What you'll do: \n \n\n • You will interpret project briefs and contribute ideas to creative discussions, helping develop innovative solutions that align with project objectives.\n, • Collaborate closely with the design team, providing support on ongoing projects and taking ownership of projects independently.\n, • Support the design team with projects from initial concept ideation through to final delivery, producing both small and large format artwork and preparing print-ready files.\n, • Support the wider team with creative pitches, proposals and presentations, including creating concept mock-ups and artwork that communicate ideas clearly to clients and internal teams.\n, • Produce high-quality design and artwork that aligns with client brand guidelines, while staying consistent with the Fairholme standard offering high touch events and brand activations.\n, • Continue to develop your knowledge of print and production materials to ensure a high-touch, high-quality standard is adhered to.\n, • Maintain accuracy and precision in all work, implementing changes and refinements carefully to uphold design standards and project requirements, taking on feedback from the wider team.\n, • Initiative and ownership of your work, proactively identifying tasks and solutions without waiting for instruction.\n, • Join the wider team on-site, supporting where needed and developing understanding of the project process from start to finish, owning installation of the printed assets.\n, • Maintain design team administrative tasks and project management tools, ensuring all project documentation, and resources are up to date.\n\n \n The Ideal Candidate will be: \n \n\n • Organised, proactive and comfortable juggling projects.\n, • Confident working independently and taking feedback.\n, • A strong portfolio with commercially relevant work.\n, • Have graduated with a design-related degree (Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related discipline).\n, • 1 Year + industry experience, working in a busy creative agency or brand is preferred.\n, • Confident across the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).\n, • Strong typography, layout and visual skills.\n, • Solid understanding of print production & artwork setup is a must.\n, • Proven track record of being able to take a brief from concept though to final artwork.\n, • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring you are proud of your output.\n, • Confident working independently and taking feedback.\n, • A strong portfolio with commercially relevant work.\n, • Be a great listener, with the ability to take on feedback and learn from every experience and opportunity.\n, • Be willing to develop initiative by actively contributing to projects and processes of all types, stepping forward with confidence when needed.\n, • Hold strong communication with design and operations teams, learning to adapt to changes whilst helping projects stay on track.\n, • Be enthusiastic and passionate about design, always eager to explore new ideas and ways of working.\n, • Develop thoughtful, well-structured work, ensuring your ideas are clear, logical, and purposeful.\n, • Be flexible and able to manage multiple tasks across different projects, while recognising when to seek support to maintain focus and quality.\n, • Stay up to date with graphic design trends and industry developments, sharing inspiration and ideas with the wider team.\n\n \n To apply: \n Please submit your CV, a link to you portfolio via PDF (<10MB) or website link and a short covering letter (no more than one page) outlining your skills and experience for the role in line with the job description and send via email with the subject: ‘Junior Design Application’ \n \n info@fairholmestudio.com by 5pm on 21st August 2026 \n \n No recruitment agencies, thank you. \n \n Instagram: @Fairholme_studio
