Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join their finance team and play a key role in supporting strategic business decisions.The RoleAs Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for:Producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts and board reportsPreparing order book reporting, cash flow forecasts, and financial performance analysisPartnering with operational teams and senior leadership to provide financial insight and support commercial decision-makingOverseeing month-end reporting processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and control account reconciliationsMonitoring financial reporting dashboards and key business performance indicatorsSupporting statutory reporting requirements and external audit activitiesIdentifying opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and internal controlsSupporting business planning, budgeting, and forecasting activitiesManaging, mentoring, and developing a Finance AssistantDriving continuous improvement across finance systems and reporting processesThe Ideal CandidateThe successful Finance Business Partner will have:CIMA or ACA qualification (or be working towards qualification)Previous experience within a Finance Business Partner, Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Assistant Finance Manager, or Audit roleStrong technical accounting and financial reporting experienceExcellent analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insightAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong financial systems knowledgeExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive approach to process improvement and continuous developmentExperience within construction, housing, engineering, or another project-based environment would be advantageousKnowledge of COINS, Anaplan, or similar ERP systems would be beneficialWhat's on OfferCompetitive basic salaryAttractive benefits packageOpportunity to join a growing and financially stable construction businessExposure to strategic business planning and commercial decision-makingLong-term career progression and professional developmentSupportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunity to make a real impact on business performance and financial strategyApply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris.Building Careers UK specialises in Construction and Property recruitment and serves as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
