CNC Machinist Rochester, Kent £13.74 per hour - £34,295 works out annually 48 hours per week | Monday–Friday Full-Time, Permanent We are recruiting for an established and highly regarded manufacturing and engineering business based in Rochester that is looking to add a CNC Machinist to its busy machining department. This is a hands-on production position working with manufactured components across a range of machining processes. It would suit someone with previous experience in a factory, production, engineering or manufacturing environment. The Role Working as part of an experienced production team, your responsibilities will include: • Processing manufactured components through the machining department, • Operating and supporting CNC turning and CNC milling machinery, • Carrying out manual turning, milling and drilling processes, • Working from drawings, production instructions and specifications, • Inspecting machined components to ensure quality standards are achieved, • Carrying out first-off checks on completed work, • Completing job cards and accurately recording production activity, • Using internal touchscreen systems to record completed work, • Manual handling and moving components around the factory, • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment, • Following all relevant health and safety, PPE and COSHH procedures What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: • You must have 2 years CNC experience, • Has previous factory, manufacturing, production or engineering experience, • Is comfortable working within a hands-on production environment, • Has good attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work, • Is comfortable working around machinery, • Can follow instructions, drawings and established processes, • Is physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties, • Has a good understanding of workplace health and safety, • Is reliable, hardworking and works well as part of a team Hours 48 hours per week • Monday–Thursday: 6:00am–4:30pm, • Friday: 6:00am–2:30pm Salary £13.74 per hour This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, established manufacturing business offering a long-term position within a busy and professional production environment.
