Fantastic opportunity to work for the property management arm of a successful and highly respected construction group.The Property Management team oversee a diverse portfolio of properties owned by the group, including offices, industrial units, and retail spaces across Norfolk. \n With a reputation for excellence and a friendly, collaborative culture, the company provides a superb environment for a General Practice Surveyor seeking a role with real variety, autonomy, and long-term progression. \n The Role \n This is a varied and rewarding client-side position where you will play a key role in managing and optimising the group’s property assets. Responsibilities include valuations, property management, lease agreements, asset management, and estates surveying. \n Because this is a client-side role, you’ll no longer be fee-driven or pressured by chargeable hour targets—allowing you to focus on quality, value, and long-term solutions for the business. \n You will also have the opportunity to broaden your experience beyond traditional surveying, including involvement in planning applications, development delivery, and development management, offering greater project variety and exposure than a typical general practice role. \n What involved? \n You will be working with two Directors, operating across property development, commercial and residential asset management and strategic land holdings. This role is varied and hands-on, requiring someone is willing to turn their hand to a wide range of tasks from helping progress large development projects, to resolving day-to-day operational issues. The successful candidate will help us identify and progress opportunities, manage ongoing projects and ensure the smooth running of our assets. \n Key responsibilities and workstream examples \n\n • Assisting to cost refurbishment/development opportunities to help the team judge the viability of a project.\n, • Organise quotes for repairs and maintenance relating to a range of property assets.\n, • Oversee small on-site projects (e.g., landscaping, signage, building works).\n, • Assist in managing end of lease dilapidation works on commercial properties, alongside our external building surveyors.\n, • Help establish ‘baseline’ information for undeveloped land in Group ownership.
