Fleet Procurement Manager \n \n Competitive Salary, Bonus, Company Car, Pension, Holidays and Benefits \n \n Role Overview \n \n This is a hybrid role that requires the successful candidate to be in our Leicester HQ office two days per week. \n \n An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused and strategic Fleet Procurement Manager to join Europcar Mobility Group UK. \n \n Reporting into the Fleet Procurement function, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with global vehicle manufacturers and key supplier partners. You will lead commercial negotiations, optimise vehicle acquisition strategies and ensure the business maintains a cost effective, sustainable and market leading fleet. \n \n This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple business functions. \n \n Benefits: \n\n • Competitive Basic Salary\n, • Provision of a fully electric company car with on site charging (subject to availability)\n, • Bonus\n, • Starting on 6 weeks holiday (including bank holidays), increasing with length of service\n, • Free on site car parking (subject to availability)\n, • Pension and a life insurance scheme \n, • Enhanced Maternity and Adoption Leave (subject to service and earning qualifications)\n, • Discounted car hire rates across our network\n, • 20% discount on EE mobile phone contracts*\n, • Discounted hotel rates through the Accor Group after 12 months service*\n, • Cycle2Work*\n, • Free annual eye tests\n, • Confidential legal and support service through BUPA\n, • Career progression and development\n\n *forms part of current non contractual benefit offering \n \n Key Responsibilities \n \n Strategic Procurement & Supplier Management \n\n • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with vehicle manufacturers, dealerships and key suppliers to secure competitive commercial terms and reliable vehicle supply.\n, • Lead commercial negotiations for annual fleet purchasing programmes and ad-hoc vehicle sourcing requirements.\n, • Deliver best value through optimisation of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), manufacturer support, rebates, incentives and delivery schedules.\n, • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing and maintaining commercial agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).\n, • Identify opportunities for supplier performance improvements, cost efficiencies and long-term value creation.\n\n \n Fleet Planning & Market Intelligence \n\n • Monitor automotive market trends, manufacturer strategies, supply chain developments and emerging technologies.\n, • Keep abreast of legislative changes including Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) regulations and sustainability initiatives.\n, • Produce market insights and recommendations to support strategic fleet planning and business decision-making.\n\n \n Data Management & Commercial Analysis \n\n • Maintain accurate procurement data, pricing schedules, contract documentation and supplier records.\n, • Analyse fleet purchasing performance, supplier KPIs and procurement spend to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.\n, • Produce regular management information and reports to support senior leadership and commercial planning.\n\n \n Stakeholder Management \n\n • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders including Commercial, Revenue & Capacity Management, Operations, Finance and Vehicle Remarketing.\n, • Act as the procurement subject matter expert, providing commercial guidance and supporting cross-functional projects.\n, • Present procurement recommendations and business cases to senior management where appropriate.\n\n \n Governance & Continuous Improvement \n\n • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, governance standards and contractual obligations.\n, • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, efficiency and supplier performance.\n, • Promote sustainability, innovation and best practice throughout the procurement lifecycle.\n\n \n Skills & Experience \n\n • Proven procurement or commercial buying experience, ideally within the automotive, fleet or leasing sector.\n, • Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.\n, • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify cost saving and value enhancing opportunities.\n, • Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail and strong problem solving abilities.\n, • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.\n, • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.\n, • Self motivated, proactive and results driven.\n, • High levels of integrity and professionalism when handling commercially sensitive information.\n\n \n Technical Requirements \n\n • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, together with experience using Google Workspace.\n, • Experience analysing procurement data and producing management reports.\n, • Good understanding of fleet procurement principles and automotive market dynamics.\n, • Full UK Driving Licence.\n, • CIPS Level 4 qualification (or working towards) is desirable, although equivalent commercial experience will be considered.\n\n \n If you believe you have what it takes to become a successful Fleet Procurement Manager within Europcar, then please apply today! \n \n Agencies - Please do not send any speculative candidates or CVs in response to this advert.
