From assessments and health services to employability programmes and specialist support, we do work that matters with people who care. \n \n Identify and assess individual learner needs and skills requirements by administering a series of robust pre-course assessments: including e.g. Maths and English, learning support, learning styles, soft skills, personal/career aspirations and subsequently developing a tailored individual learning plan (ILP) to address specific barriers and skills development needs. \n \n Training will include, personalised, accredited and/or non-accredited skills interventions with embedded personal, social and wellbeing development activities and wrapped around sector/s of interest alongside the wider development, where appropriate, of English, Maths, Digital and Soft Skills. \n \n ILPs (inc. tailored action plan) will include SMART goals/targets. Lessons must be planned effectively ensuring that activities are differentiated towards individual learner needs. Trainers should deliver outstanding training and assessment that effectively assists learners to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to better prepare them for further learning, sustainable employment and improved confidence/independence. \n \n Job Duties: \n \n Role is across, Barking, Enfield & Stratford, candidates need to be able to commute to all 3 locations \n \n • Administer screeners, initial and diagnostics assessments for each learner, and subsequently develop and maintain tailored ILPs (inc. action plans) to include SMART targets. \n \n • Deliver accredited and/or non-accredited training programmes to 19+ Adults in any or some of the following subject areas (multi-disciplinary Trainers will be prioritised during selection): \n\n • Adult Social Care\n, • Hospitality & Catering\n, • Logistics & Warehousing\n\n, • Train, assess, motivate, mentor and support learners, assisting them to develop personal and social skills to better prepare them for work and independence. \n \n Qualifications & Experience \n \n Hold a minimum of a Level 3 teaching qualification (PTTLS or equivalent, CTTLS ) and, where required, subject-specific qualifications and/or occupational knowledge/experience to support the accredited/non-accredited training (Adult Skills) delivery to 19+ Adults in any or some of the following subject areas (multi-disciplinary Trainers will be prioritised): \n\n • Hospitality & Catering \n, • Adult Social Care \n, • Logistics & Warehousing\n\n Level 3 Award Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement or equivalent - Essential \n \n Level 4 Award in the Quality Assurance of Assessment Process and Practice or equivalent (desirable) \n \n English and Maths to at least Functional Skills level 2 \n \n Individual Competencies \n\n • Experience of deploying motivational strategies to develop individuals.\n, • Proven experience of adult or work-based learning, teaching and assessment\n, • Proven track record of delivering funded employability programmes (including accredited and non-accredited qualifications) with complex learners\n, • IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programmes to include 365 products and modern digital technologies, i.e. Microsoft Teams\n, • A track record of managing and supporting colleagues and learners face-to-face and remotely\n, • Proven track record of working with the unemployed on programmes that facilitate positive outcomes (e.g. sustainable job outcomes, further education, volunteering)\n, • Ability to plan and organise own caseload and diary unsupervised\n, • A strong team player\n, • Excellent communication skills and experience of forging strong relationships with Internal & External Stakeholders.\n, • Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards\n, • Able to meet and exceed retention and achievement targets for qualifications and progression outcomes\n, • The ability to manage learner numbers in line with budgets and delivery profiles\n, • Excellent presentation skills\n, • Reliable and capable of fulfilling the employment contract (including good sickness record) other than for legitimate disability absences agreed with the Company\n, • Commitment to quality and customers\n
