We're recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join the brigade at one of the South East's premier hospitality and events destinations. Hosting an exciting calendar of race days, corporate hospitality, conferences, private events and weddings throughout the year, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic and rewarding operation. Working alongside an experienced Executive Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding food across multiple outlets and high-profile events while helping to lead and inspire a passionate kitchen team. The Role As Events Chef, you'll support the smooth running of a busy kitchen operation, ensuring consistently high standards whether catering for intimate dining experiences or large-scale hospitality events. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the Executive Chef with the day-to-day management of the kitchen Leading the brigade during service and maintaining exceptional food quality Delivering high-volume event catering alongside restaurant and hospitality service Assisting with menu planning and seasonal food development Training, mentoring and developing junior chefs Managing food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance Supporting stock control, ordering and cost management Leading by example with a hands-on approach and positive attitude About You We're looking for a confident and organised Sous Chef who enjoys the pace and variety that large events bring.
