Our client, based in Stroud and part of a well-established group of specialists providing assessment and treatment services across the UK, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their friendly and supportive team. You will be a confident and proactive finance professional with strong communication skills, capable of working collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently. Taking full ownership of financial matters relating to client accounts, you will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and financial control. \n \n Key responsibilities: \n -Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries \n -Budgeting and forecasting \n -Debt management and debt recovery \n -Analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings \n -Managing an end-to-end audit process of current systems \n -Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts \n -Leading the team and being responsible for, VAT and HMRC processes \n -Prepare year end accounts \n -Attend board meetings as required \n \n Candidate Attributes: \n -AAT level 4 qualified or working towards \n -Be resourceful with drive, determination and enthusiasm \n -Ability to problem solve and make decisions confidently \n -Resilient and flexible \n \n Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00am to 17.00pm (one day per week working from home) \n \n Salary: Negotiable based on experience + free onsite parking + company bonus scheme
