About Us\n Located in Stockport, Priory Hospital Cheadle is an inpatient mental health service catering to young people and adults. We are easily accessible via public transport, with local bus routes and railway stations just a short distance away. Your Role\n In this impactful position, you will: \n\n • Lead patient recovery by assessing and delivering tailored treatment plans, ensuring dignity and high standards of care.\n, • Take clinical responsibility for patients, conducting multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, and strategic assessments.\n, • Act as the Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983).\n, • Supervise the referral and admission process, contributing to pre-admission assessments alongside your team.\n, • Provide a psychiatric perspective to the multidisciplinary team for the assessment, formulation, and treatment of adults.\nWhat You’ll Bring\n To thrive in this role, you will need: \n\n • MRCPsych (or equivalent qualification) and a CCT (or equivalent).\n, • Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register, along with Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status.\n, • Demonstrated clinical knowledge, skills, and experience relevant to the specialty.\n, • A commitment to shared leadership, collaborative working, and service improvement.\n, • Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development.\nWhat We Offer You\n At Priory, we want you to succeed and thrive in your role.
