We are looking for a chef to join the kitchen team at Knebworth Golf Club. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for providing an excellent culinary experience for our members and visitors alike. What we look for in our chefs: Passionate about working in hospitality Great eye for detail Enjoys and wants to be an active member of a team Excellent verbal communication An understanding of what amazing guest service looks like Role: Prepare, cook and present amazing food in accordance with club standards Taking pride in maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and safety Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations at all times You will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast/lunch and dinner complying with stringent Food Hygiene and Health & Safety procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining kitchen cleanliness and helping with stock control. You must be able to demonstrate you can: Follow instructions and work to exceptionally high standards Work well on your own and within a team Thrive under pressure Comply with all Health, Safety & Security Procedures Perform physically demanding work to tight timescales Engage with guests in a friendly, clear and professional manner Working hours: Mixture of mornings, evenings and weekends.
