This is a hands-on role for someone who can confidently set and operate CNC press brakes, interpret engineering drawings and produce high-quality folded components to tight tolerances. Working within a busy fabrication environment, you will be responsible for setting machines, bending a variety of materials and ensuring all work meets the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Set and operate CNC press brake machines safely and efficiently., • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications., • Select the correct tooling and machine settings for each job., • Produce high-quality folded and bent components to specification., • Carry out first-off inspections and regular quality checks during production., • Measure components using engineering measuring equipment including verniers, rulers and angle gauges., • Adjust machine settings where required to maintain quality and accuracy., • Work to production schedules and achieve agreed output targets., • Identify quality issues and report any machine faults or production concerns., • Ensure work areas remain clean, organised and safe., • Follow all company health & safety procedures., • Support colleagues and assist with other fabrication duties where required.
