History Teacher \n Fixed-Term Contract (1 Year)Required from September 2026 \n MPS/UPS (London Fringe) \n We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate and talented Teacher of History to join our successful and thriving Humanities Faculty from September 2026 on a one-year fixed-term contract. \n This is an exciting opportunity for a committed teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 for a suitably qualified candidate. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about history, dedicated to high standards of teaching and learning, and committed to ensuring excellent outcomes for all students. \n About the Role \n The successful candidate will: \n\n • Deliver engaging, challenging and inspiring History lessons.\n, • Foster a love of history and encourage intellectual curiosity.\n, • Maintain high expectations of achievement, behaviour and attendance.\n, • Contribute positively to the wider life of the humanities Faculty and the school.\n, • Support students of all abilities to make excellent progress.\n\n We Are Looking For Someone Who: \n\n • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.\n, • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.\n, • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and behaviour management skills.\n, • Is committed to raising standards and improving student outcomes.\n, • Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.\n, • Has the enthusiasm and drive to contribute to the wider life of the school.\n\n Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). \n About the School \n The school is a successful, oversubscribed secondary school with a strong reputation for academic achievement, pastoral care and enrichment opportunities.
