    Role Overview THE SEAS TRADE LTD is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Commercial Manager to oversee the Company's commercial operations, supplier relationships, customer partnerships and business development activities within the UK wholesale food and beverage sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Company's commercial relationships with suppliers, wholesale customers, supermarkets and retail partners, ensuring that commercial agreements are effectively implemented and business operations are carried out efficiently. The role also involves overseeing product procurement, coordinating supply chain activities, supporting commercial negotiations, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the Company's continued commercial growth. The position requires excellent commercial awareness, relationship management and operational coordination skills, together with the ability to oversee multiple commercial projects in a fast-paced wholesale trading environment. Duties • Manage and maintain the Company's commercial relationships with suppliers, wholesale customers, supermarkets, distributors and other business partners, ensuring effective long-term cooperation., • Oversee the implementation of commercial agreements and supply arrangements, ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled and commercial objectives are achieved., • Coordinate procurement activities, stock planning and product supply to ensure the efficient operation of the Company's wholesale business., • Monitor the performance of commercial partnerships, identify opportunities to strengthen existing relationships and improve business performance., • Work closely with the Company's Director to oversee commercial operations, support strategic planning and improve operational efficiency., • Lead commercial discussions relating to supplier agreements, customer contracts, pricing strategies and business development opportunities., • Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks arising from trading activities and recommend appropriate solutions to safeguard the Company's commercial interests., • Coordinate communications between suppliers, logistics providers, warehouse operations and customers to ensure efficient supply chain management., • Prepare commercial reports, sales analyses, procurement reports and business recommendations to support the Company's strategic planning and decision-making., • Represent the Company at business meetings, trade exhibitions, supplier negotiations and industry networking events to strengthen the Company's commercial presence and develop new business opportunities., • Keep up to date with developments in the UK wholesale food, beverage and grocery market, identifying market trends and opportunities to support the Company's continued commercial growth. Who are we looking for • Educated to degree level or above, preferably in Business, Management, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing or a related field., • Experience in commercial management, wholesale operations, business development, procurement, supply chain management or client relationship management, preferably within the food, beverage, FMCG or wholesale distribution sector., • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers and commercial customers., • Experience of managing supplier relationships, commercial contracts and wholesale operations would be highly desirable., • Familiarity with the Asian food and beverage market and UK wholesale distribution industry would be highly desirable., • Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is essential., • Self-motivated, well organised and able to manage multiple commercial projects, supplier relationships and operational tasks simultaneously.
