We support the five hospitals of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust: Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlottes & Chelsea, St Marys, and the Western Eye.We are now looking for a Philanthropy Executive to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.The Benefits- Salary of £41,680 per annum (with the potential to progress based on annually reviewed performance)- 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays (We'll increase your holiday entitlement by one day per year up to 29 days, and after five years service, well increase this to 33 days)- An extra days holiday to be taken one week either side of your birthday- Pension (with employer contributions of 10%)- Sick pay- Support towards healthcare costs, including eye tests and dental, and access to mental health support through counselling- Additional access to gym discounts- Interest-free season ticket loan- Death-in-service benefit- Staff arts club, including free entry to London galleries- Access to a range of high street and online discountsThis is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced fundraiser with strong relationship management skills and a track record of securing significant gifts to join our compassionate organisation.From developing persuasive proposals to nurturing long-term support, youll lead fundraising that can unlock vital resources and create a lasting difference across five major London hospitals.Whats more, youll be able to strengthen your experience whilst having access to hybrid working, a 10% employer pension contribution and strong health and wellbeing support within a role that combines purpose with a genuinely supportive package.So, if youre ready to turn powerful relationships into meaningful support for Londons hospitals and the people who rely on them, read on and apply today.The RoleAs a Philanthropy Executive, you will help secure transformative funding from major donors, trusts and foundations, and corporate partners to support our hospitals and fundraising priorities.You will manage and develop a small portfolio of supporters while growing our mid-value donor programme, building strong relationships and delivering excellent stewardship to increase engagement, retention and income.Alongside supporting the development of compelling proposals and donor communications, you will lead smaller fundraising projects from concept to delivery and help identify new funding opportunities to maintain a strong prospect pipeline.Additionally, you will:- Support fundraising events and the annual Winter Appeal- Manage philanthropy enquiries and donations- Maintain accurate supporter records and philanthropy processes- Promote our work to NHS colleagues and external stakeholdersAbout YouTo be considered as a Philanthropy Executive, you will need:- Experience of major gift, trusts and foundations and/or corporate fundraising, or in a similar role- Experience of relationship management and stewardship of supporters, soliciting up to four or five figure gifts through face-to-face asks and/or funding proposals- Proven experience of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders- The ability to analyse complex information and compile it into concise, powerful and persuasive funding proposals- Excellent networking and interpersonal skills- Excellent IT skills, in particular Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and fundraising databases- To be educated to degree level or equivalent relevant professional experience- Professional development or training in fundraising, prospect research, data analysis, or charity governance- Membership of a relevant professional body or a willingness to work towards thisAll job offers with Imperial Health Charity are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks and references.
