Electronic Test EngineerLocation: Eastbourne, East SussexSalary: Up to £40,000 DOEAbout the RoleWe are seeking a multi-disciplined Electronic Test Support Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Eastbourne. This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong technical background in electronics who thrives on solving problems and keeping production running smoothly.You'll be responsible for supporting automated and semi-automated electronic test systems, working closely with engineering, production, and management teams to diagnose and resolve issues quickly and effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain automated and semi-automated electronic test systems within a manufacturing environmentDiagnose faults across hardware, instrumentation, and software using a structured, logical approachRead and interpret electronic schematics and system diagrams to troubleshoot effectivelyProvide robust, timely fixes to minimise production downtimeWork hands-on with electronic test fixtures, instrumentation, and test equipmentCollaborate closely with engineers, managers, and production staff to support smooth day-to-day operationsWhat We're Looking ForKey Skills:Strong understanding of electronics theory and practical troubleshooting techniquesAbility to read and work from electronic schematics and system diagramsFamiliarity with test automation environments (e.g., C#, LabVIEW, Python, or similar tools)Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with teams across the businessA structured and logical approach to diagnosing links between hardware, instrumentation, and softwareAbility to deliver robust, timely fixes to keep production flowingHands-on experience with electronic test fixtures, instrumentation, and test equipmentQualifications & Experience:Degree, HNC, or HND in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Test Engineering, or equivalentMinimum of 3 years' experience in test engineering or production test supportWhy Join Us?This is a great opportunity for a technically skilled engineer to take on a varied, hands-on role at the heart of a busy manufacturing operation, with a competitive salary of up to £40,000.To apply, please submit your CV along with a brief covering note outlining your relevant experience.TPBN1_UKTJ
