The prime responsibility is to assist the Director of Global Safety in managing the Corporate Safety Program.Key Responsibilities: Manage and support engineering equipment programs including but not limited to the following:Personal dosimeter radiation monitoring program PPERespirator Fall ProtectionConfined space monitorsOther current and future equipment needsConduct training classes both live and virtually including: driver, new hire, refresher, equipment specific and other specific training Assist in the develop of content for training presentations and learning materialsWork with other departments to develop on-line learning optionsSupporting, coordinating and reporting on Corporate Safety Metrics Conduct safety contract reviews and assist with the completion of site access safety questionnairesConduct and support injury/illness and near miss investigations including becoming RCA qualified to conduct Root Cause Analysis investigationsReview and finalize OSHA logsSupporting and coordinating site access requirements including drug tests, site specific safety training and other safety specific requirementsManage safety equipment inventory and ordering processesAssist with and monitor the data entry into our safety database to maintain accurate recordsWork with the Safety Team to meet Key Responsibilities: EssentialSeveral years working experience in an industrial setting. Working experience with OSHA regulations; additional regulatory/industry affiliated bodies preferredExperience to include international safety, confined space entry of boilers and/or pressure vessels, contract management, fleet and exposure controlDesirableGood presentation skills including ability to build training presentations and work with international audiencesAnalyze local and industry safety trends for the purpose of adjusting internal safety programs to meet new threatsAdditional Skills and ResponsibilitiesAbility to prepare clear, concise and informative written communications.Ability to work independently and with a team to develop and deliver safety programs and trainingsWillingness to travel extensively, including international destinationsExcellent customer service skills demonstrated by listening, taking ownership, following up and providing positive customer interaction with global clientsQualifications & Educational Requirements:BS in Industrial Safety or related field or comparable work experienceCertified OSHA 500 and 501 instructor, Certified Defensive Driving Instructor to be obtained within first year of employmentAssociate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional designation, preferredDiversity, Equity & InclusionAt HSB, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion foster innovation and resilience and enable us to act braver and better.
