    The Role Marie et Marcelle is looking for a part-time chef to join the team from September 2026. This is a hands-on role, perfect for a self-starter individual with a strong interest for French-inspired and seasonal food. You will work closely with Pauline - the Chef and Owner to deliver good quality food across all of our service lines. Some weeks may be busier than others depending on the orders and events schedule, therefore some level of flexibility might be required. We can guarantee a minimum amount of hours per week and the rota will be confirmed a couple of weeks in advance. You will be provided with training as you join and on-going support. Over time you will be expected to work confidently with limited supervision. We have access to a small urban garden where we grow some produce throughout the year – an interest to get involved with growing fruits and vegetables would be a massive plus. What You Will Be Doing • Working with fresh seasonal produce, • Supporting with the weekly production of French-inspired food for our corporate orders and events, • Ensuring food is prepared in a timely manner and with care, • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. Assisting with record keeping, • Assisting with stock control and ordering, • Supporting freelance team members, • Attending off-site events when required What We Are Looking For • Trained chef with a background in catering, events or restaurants, • Knowledge of French food and techniques, • Calm, clean, organised and comfortable working to set timelines, • Passion for seasonal, sustainable food and gardening, • A collaborative, positive attitude, • Some level of flexible availability as occasional evening events might be required.
