Project Manager @ Knowlton Marketing Agency - based Kent \n \n Hybrid (3 in-office days in Manston/ Margate, Kent) | £32,000 to £35,000 | Full-Time \n \n Knowlton is a creative marketing agency founded by brothers Lloyd and Dan Knowlton, based on the Kent coast in Margate. They've worked with some of the world's biggest brands, from BBC StoryWorks and Airalo to Wahl and Sunny D, generating millions in trackable revenue, reaching millions, and delivering results that senior marketers call career highlights. They do paid and organic social, video, influencer, experiential, OOH and full-funnel strategy. A close-knit team with serious creative firepower, and a track record to match. \n \n The role \n Knowlton is looking for a Project Manager to bring structure, organisation and accountability to the way projects are delivered across the agency. This is a brand-new role to make sure projects are properly planned, clearly communicated and delivered on time and within budget. \n Projects will vary hugely in size and scope. You could be managing a fast-moving social campaign one week, a multi-market production the next, or helping coordinate a project that runs over several months. With clients across the UK and globally, there is plenty of variety and no two projects will look the same. \n \n We are looking for someone who knows how to manage projects properly. You'll be comfortable building timelines, managing budgets, keeping people accountable, spotting risks before they become problems and bringing clarity when there are lots of moving parts. \n You'll also need to be confident working with creative and marketing teams. You're not there to simply create spreadsheets and chase people for updates — you'll be an important part of the team, helping everyone understand what needs to happen, when it needs to happen and who's responsible for making it happen. \n \n If you're an experienced project manager who loves bringing order to creative chaos, enjoys working collaboratively and isn't afraid to hold people accountable, this could be the role for you. \n \n What you will do \n\n • Own the day-to-day management and delivery of projects across marketing and production\n, • Build and maintain clear project plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables\n, • Keep projects moving and make sure work is delivered on time and to the agreed scope\n, • Track project budgets, costs and resource, helping ensure projects are delivered profitably and within budget\n, • Work closely with everyone at Knowlton to coordinate workloads and dependencies\n, • Make sure everyone knows what they're responsible for, when it's due and what needs to happen next\n, • Identify potential risks, delays and blockers early and work with the team to resolve them\n, • Keep project documentation, systems and processes up to date and make sure they're actually being used\n, • Coordinate internal meetings, project kick-offs, check-ins and delivery milestones where needed\n, • Manage changes to project scope, timelines or budgets and make sure the right people are aware\n, • Provide clear project updates to internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, clients\n, • Help improve the agency's project management processes, systems and ways of working as this new function develops\n, • Juggle multiple projects and clients at different stages, from short-term campaigns to longer-term programmes of work\n\n \n This role is for you if \n\n • You genuinely enjoy making things happen and bringing structure to busy teams\n, • You're comfortable being collaborative and approachable while still holding people accountable\n, • You don't mind asking "where is this up to?" or "why hasn't this been done?" when something is slipping\n, • You can work confidently with creative people without trying to take the creativity out of the process\n, • You enjoy variety and can move between different clients, projects and priorities\n, • You're calm when things change, deadlines move or something inevitably goes wrong\n, • You naturally think ahead and spot problems before they become urgent\n, • You like systems and processes, but understand that agency life doesn't always go exactly to plan\n, • You're organised, commercially aware and take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do\n\n \n What we are looking for \n\n • 2+ years' experience in project management, ideally within a marketing, creative, production, digital or agency environment\n, • A proven track record of managing projects from brief through to completion\n, • Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams at the same time, ideally across different clients or stakeholders\n, • Strong understanding of project management principles, including timelines, budgets, resource, dependencies, risks and scope\n, • Experience using project management, workflow or collaboration tools and a willingness to learn and improve the systems already in place\n, • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills\n, • Confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both creative and commercial stakeholders\n, • The confidence to challenge, chase and hold people accountable when required — while maintaining positive working relationships\n, • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to managing problems, delays and competing priorities\n, • Experience working with budgets and understanding the commercial impact of project decisions\n, • Someone who can bring structure without creating unnecessary bureaucracy\n, • Agency or marketing experience is highly desirable, but we're open to people from other project-based environments if you understand how to manage complex, changing projects and collaborative teams\n\n \n Why Knowlton? \n We believe in doing great work while looking after our people. Benefits include: \n\n • 35 hour work week for better work life balance\n, • Flexi Friday with a 14:30 finish every Friday\n, • Private healthcare\n, • Monthly fun days and team experiences\n, • Hybrid working\n, • Real opportunities to learn and grow\n, • A supportive, positive and collaborative team culture\n\n
