If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact, we invite you to bring your expertise and energy to our team.What You’ll Do At Elekta:Own and manage all UK tax matters, including Corporation Tax compliance and reporting, VAT oversight, and R&D tax incentives (including Patent Box and RDEC)Lead the preparation of UK statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with IAS12 tax provisioning requirementsDevelop and maintain the UK tax strategy and governance frameworkAct as the main point of contact with HMRC for all UK tax-related mattersPartner with external auditors, providing support on tax and broader accounting requirementsOversee transfer pricing activities, including preparation of the Local File and coordination with external advisors globallyEnsure compliance with Country-by-Country reporting and other international tax requirementsReview corporate tax returns across EMEA & APAC, ensuring alignment with tax provisions and conducting quarterly tax reconciliations and analysisOwn and manage indirect tax across the region, including VAT software implementation, optimisation of foreign VAT reclaims, and technical advisory supportAct as the key contact for Pillar 2, ensuring local compliance and supporting global implementation effortsProvide tax support across EMEA & APAC, managing queries, projects, and partnering closely with regional stakeholders and external advisorsSupport global tax governance, including maintaining documentation, contributing to DAC6 reporting, and monitoring new tax legislation and its financial impactWhat You’ll Bring: Qualified Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA), Chartered Accountant, or equivalent professional certificationProven experience (3+ years) in public accounting or within a corporate tax environmentStrong UK tax compliance experience, with exposure to Patent Box highly advantageousSolid understanding of tax accounting under IAS 12Exposure to international tax matters and multi-jurisdictional environmentsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manage and analyse complex dataHighly organised with strong attention to detailComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing prioritiesStrong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislationProactive mindset with a genuine interest in continuously developing tax technical expertiseWhat You’ll Get:In this role, you will work for a higher purpose; hope for everyone dealing with cancer, and for everyone regardless of where in the world, to have access to the best cancer care.
