About the role: We’re looking for an experienced Property Services Technician to work on a customer site based in the Oxford area. Our ideal candidate will have a broad experience in decorating, carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical repairs and various “DIY” jobs. Key Responsibilities: • Carry out minor decorating and carpentry work such as patch repairs, painting and decorating, repairs to ironmongery as well as typical ‘DIY’ tasks, • Complete FRA remedial repairs, • Complete minor electrical repairs (C&G Training provided) such as changing light fittings and electrical accessories, • Able to carry out minor plumbing repairs such as changing taps, • Completion of audits for the Property Team & Helpdesk, • Completion of small PPM tasks such as filter changes and gutter cleaning, • Communicate with customers during works and advising on repair options, • Compliance with H&S rules and policies, • Take a sensible approach to H&S, completing risk assessments and method statements and safely looking after your work area, • Build positive relationships with all stakeholders and keep relevant parties up to date with developments, • Carry out work in a safe, efficient and tidy manner, • Work as part of a team and be willing to support other operatives at other locations as required, • Surveying follow-on works and jobs Skills, Qualifications and Experience: • Proven experience in a similar role, • Experience in managing different stakeholder relationships, • Excellent communication skills, • Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload, • Excellent organisational skills, • Strong problem-solving skills and good attention to detail, • Full UK driving licence Working Pattern/Location: • 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday., • Onsite at customer premises.
