Job description: Job post summary Pay: £33,604.00 - £33,605.00 per year Job description: Children's Residential Support Worker Permanent Location: Coppull Job Summary We are seeking caring, resilient, and dedicated Children's Residential Support Workers / Teaching Assistants to join our team in Coppull. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people. The successful candidate will work closely with young people to support their daily routines, emotional wellbeing, education, and personal development while making a meaningful difference in their lives. Duties • Support children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in a residential care setting., • Assist with daily routines, personal development, and educational activities., • Provide emotional support and promote positive behaviour and wellbeing., • Build positive and trusting relationships with young people., • Support young people to develop social, communication, and life skills., • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment., • Assist with behavioural management strategies in line with organisational policies., • Ensure the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of all young people at all times., • Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins. Shift Pattern 2 days on, 4 days off (Including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts) Qualifications & Requirements • Relevant experience working with children, • Experience supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) is highly desirable., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work patiently, empathetically, and professionally in challenging situations., • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes., • Full UK driving licence is essential., • Relevant qualifications in childcare, education, or residential care are beneficial but not essential.
