Working closely with the Branch Care Manager, you'll coordinate care schedules, support our care professionals, and ensure customers receive dependable, person-centred care.You'll also be a main point of contact for carers, clients, family members and healthcare professionals, dealing with enquiries, resolving issues and helping maintain excellent standards across the service.This is a full-time role based on a 37.5-hour working week and includes participation in a shared on-call rota covering weekday evenings and alternate weekends. Additional shifts and ad-hoc cover may also be available, providing opportunities to increase your earnings.As part of the on-call team, you'll provide out-of-hours support, responding to emergencies, staff absences and general enquiries to ensure continuity of care at all times.What you'll doCreate and manage care rotas that support continuity and minimise travel timeAllocate carers to customers based on skills, experience and geographical locationRespond efficiently to unexpected changes in staffing or customer requirementsHandle telephone calls, emails and messages promptly and professionallyRecord and escalate concerns, complaints and compliments in line with company proceduresWork closely with colleagues and management to deliver a high-quality care serviceCarry out staff supervisions and observations, supporting development and maintaining standardsReview and update care plans to reflect customers' individual needs and preferencesIdentify opportunities to support branch growth through community engagement and business developmentDeliver outstanding customer service in every interactionParticipate in the branch's shared on-call rotaAbout YouA minimum of one year's practical care experience (essential)Previous rota planning or scheduling experience (desirable)Excellent organisational and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills with a calm and professional approachConfident using care management or rostering software (training provided)Able to work independently while contributing positively as part of a teamWhat We OfferSalary of up to £28,000 per year, with additional earnings for out-of-office-hours care visits28 days' annual leave, including bank holidaysWorkplace pension schemeOngoing training and opportunities for career progressionSupport to achieve recognised industry qualificationsRefer-a-friend bonus schemeAdditional hours may occasionally be required to meet the needs of the business.If you enjoy organising schedules, planning ahead and understand the importance of providing consistent, high-quality care, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today and become part of a dedicated team committed to making a real difference within the local community.All appointments are subject to satisfactory references, an Enhanced DBS check and completion of mandatory training.
