UX/UI Product Designer \n\n • Annual Salary: £45,000\n, • Location: UK (Remote) - Occasional visits once per quarter \n, • Job Type: Full-Time, 3-year Fixed Term Contract \n\n A new exciting Fixed Term Contract opportunity has become available to join a leading UK housing care provider, seeking a talented, user-focused UX/UI Product Designer to join their product team. \n This role is dedicated to shaping the design of internal, data-rich web applications used in housing maintenance and management services. It's an ideal position for a designer who thrives on transforming complex service journeys and multi-step processes into clear, structured, and human-centred digital experiences. \n Day-to-day of the role: \n\n • Design user-centred experiences for internal business applications, focusing on data-rich screens and intricate workflows.\n, • Translate operational processes and business rules into simple, structured, and task-focused user journeys.\n, • Define and refine information architecture, including navigation structures and taxonomies.\n, • Design dashboards, reporting views, and interactive UI elements to enhance data usability and decision-making.\n, • Create accessible forms and multi-step workflows, ensuring all designs meet WCAG 2.2 standards for accessibility.\n, • Use Figma to create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.\n, • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, developers, and testers to understand user needs and support successful delivery.\n\n Required Skills & Qualifications: \n\n • 4+ years of commercial experience in designing web-based products, ideally within internal tools or enterprise products.\n, • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.\n, • Strong portfolio showcasing skills in UX problem-solving, information architecture, and responsive web design.\n, • Experience with design systems, reusable components, and scalable UI patterns.\n, • Familiarity with front-end implementation considerations and version control tools like Git or Azure DevOps.\n, • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multi-discipline teams.\n\n Benefits: \n\n • Named in the Top 10 Best Big UK Companies to Work For in recent years.\n, • Inclusive culture committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.\n, • Meaningful work with a tangible impact on people’s lives.\n, • 25 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays, with an additional 2 days for volunteering/social impact.\n, • Comprehensive benefits package including discounts, green car scheme, private healthcare, life assurance, holiday trading, share options, and an employee assistance programme.\n\n To apply for the UX/UI Product Designer position, please submit your CV to be considered immediately.
