This is a hands-on engineering role within a busy manufacturing environment, supporting the reliable and efficient operation of production equipment, site services and facilities. You will work as part of a team of engineers, reporting to the Shift Team Leader, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement. Troubleshoot electrical control systems, sensors, instrumentation and automation equipment. Work proactively to identify potential failures and prevent unplanned downtime. Support continuous improvement activities across production and engineering. Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate faults, repairs and ongoing issues effectively. Work collaboratively with production and other departments to resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company safety procedures, engineering standards and relevant legislation. You will ideally have: Proven industrial maintenance experience. A recognised Level 3 engineering qualification in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Maintenance, Mechatronics, Food & Drink Engineering Maintenance, Maintenance & Operations Engineering, Electrotechnical Systems, or an equivalent overseas qualification. Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Experience working with PPM and reactive maintenance. A good understanding of electrical control systems, motors, PLCs and instrumentation. Demonstrable mechanical aptitude. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with colleagues across different departments. A proactive, continuous-improvement mindset.
