    Role Overview: Embassy Cafe is seeking a reliable and skilled Breakfast Head Chef to manage our busy morning service. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality breakfast dishes, managing kitchen prep, and ensuring excellent food standards. Morning routine: Cook breakfast items quickly and to a high standard during peak café rushes, set up the breakfast station before service begins at 6am. Because this shift extends into the early afternoon, you will also oversee the transition from breakfast to lunch prep such as (cooking lasagna, chicken curry, chilli con carne, shakshuka, ect., while prepping for a lunch rush), setting up the kitchen for the following day while utilising the early afternoon hours to prep ingredients for the next morning and managing strict kitchen hygiene, food storage, and temperature control standards. One of the most important duties will be inventory control- monitoring food stock, rotating ingredients, and reporting shortages. Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy morning rushes is highly valuable, punctuality is a requirement. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced professional kitchen or café with a valid UK Food Safety and Hygiene Certification (Level 2 preferred).     We are seeking a dependable, hardworking and experienced Kitchen supervisor / Sandwich Maker to join our busy kitchen team. Please note that this role is during the night, and applicants must be able to commute to Alperton, Wembley for this role. Responsibilities: Making up to 200 - 400 afternoon tea sandwiches / wraps per day Prepare fresh sandwiches and wraps to a high standard Assembling sandwiches / wraps according to customer specifications and menu guidelines. To produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customers Making outstanding quality food that is 'picture perfect' every time Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standard Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and portion control. Maintain strict food hygiene and safety practices Assist kitchen team with basic prep and cleaning Keep workstations and equipment clean, tidy and well-organised Managing your own prep, service and clean down Support stock rotation and help manage deliveries Follow kitchen SOP’s and hygiene procedures. Requirements: Ready to work 9 to 12 hours night shifts Previous experience in a similar kitchen or chef role is an advantage Solid knife skills and a basic understanding of food safety A positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Punctual, reliable and well-presented
