EAC are currently recruiting for an experienced 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join a busy operational environment in Great Barford. \n This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys being hands-on and working directly with users. You will be the on-site IT presence, supporting office, workshop and warehouse teams across three locations and working closely with the wider IT team, third-party suppliers and customer management. \n The role would suit someone who is confident working independently, enjoys problem-solving and takes ownership of issues from start to finish. \n Please note: this role operates an early shift, with a 07:00 start Monday to Friday until 3:30pm. \n\n • Salary £32,000 - £35,000\nKey Responsibilities\n\n, • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to office, workshop and warehouse users\n, • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues\n, • Support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners and warehouse terminals\n, • Configure and deploy new hardware and user devices\n, • Manage user accounts, permissions and access\n, • Provide support for Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint\n, • Support Windows 10/11 and on-premises Windows Server environments\n, • Provide support for Terminal Server / RDS, including systems used for Sage\n, • Support business applications including Syrinx and Sage\n, • Troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN, switching, cabling and connectivity issues\n, • Liaise with third-party providers and escalate more complex issues where required\n, • Monitor systems and proactively identify potential issues\n, • Maintain accurate IT documentation and handover notes\n, • Ensure IT procedures, standards and security requirements are followed\n, • Provide a professional and customer-focused service to all users\n\n About You \n\n • Experience providing 1st / 2nd Line IT Support\n, • Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server\n, • Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365\n, • Knowledge of Terminal Server / RDS\n, • Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, switching and connectivity troubleshooting\n, • Experience supporting users within a warehouse, logistics or operational environment\n, • Strong communication and customer service skills\n, • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload\n, • A proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving\n
