Job Description Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description The General Production Worker supports manufacturing and paint line operations by preparing, hanging, painting, staging, stacking, and removing parts while maintaining high quality and productivity standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a consistent focus on workplace safety. Responsibilities • Prepare parts for the manufacturing and paint line process according to production requirements., • Hang parts securely and accurately on racks or fixtures for painting and processing., • Assist with painting operations, ensuring proper coverage and finish on sheet metal and other materials., • Stage and stack parts in designated areas to maintain an organized workflow., • Remove completed parts from the line and prepare them for the next phase of production or shipment., • Inspect parts for defects, quality issues, and adherence to specifications., • Handle general labor tasks to support overall production needs on the shop floor., • Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area., • Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and productivity standards., • Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues that may affect quality or output. Essential Skills • Experience in general production or general labor in a manufacturing environment., • Ability to perform basic inspection of parts for quality and accuracy., • Familiarity with working around sheet metal or similar materials., • Capability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production setting., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards., • Reliability in following safety guidelines and workplace procedures., • Physical ability to stand, move, hang, stack, and handle parts throughout the shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications • General fabrication experience is a plus., • Experience in carpentry is beneficial for handling materials and structures., • Comfort working with basic tools and equipment commonly used in production environments. Work Environment The role is based on an open shop floor in a large, semi climate-controlled facility equipped with large fans to improve air circulation. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing regular daytime hours. You will work on and around a manufacturing and paint line, handling sheet metal and other parts in an industrial setting, with appropriate work attire suitable for a production floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring Hill, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
