RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide professional interpretation services during various settings, including medical, legal, educational, and social services., • Ensure clear and effective communication by interpreting spoken words into ASL and ASL back into spoken language in real-time., • Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interpretation sessions., • Stay updated on developments in both ASL and English to ensure the highest quality of service and accuracy in interpretation. REQUIREMENTS: • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and strong proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills in both languages., • Certification or qualifications in ASL interpretation is preferred., • Understanding of the Deaf culture and norms to provide effective and culturally sensitive interpretation., • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
