With teams in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, we provide music solutions across film, television, trailers, gaming, advertising, and promotional content. We develop original compositions, represent a diverse catalog, and work closely with clients to support projects from concept through completion. The Role We’re hiring a Manager, Creative Sync – Trailers, Film & TV, based in Los Angeles. This is a hybrid creative sync and business development role, with responsibilities divided across the trailer, film, and television markets. You’ll develop relationships, identify pitching opportunities, and drive placements for AM2’s catalog, artists, and custom music across theatrical and streaming campaigns, feature films, television series, and other visual media. This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in the Los Angeles area to support in-person meetings, events, and client engagement. The ideal candidate brings experience and an active network across the sync community, with established trailer house contacts and a strong understanding of the trailer pitching process. You’ll work closely with the AM2 team and report to AM2’s Creative Sync leadership. What You’ll Do • Drive new business development across trailers, film, and television by building relationships with trailer houses, music supervisors, studios, networks, streamers, production companies, and other strategic partners, • Develop and maintain strong relationships with trailer house creative teams, music supervisors, and studio and network creative executives, • Proactively identify projects, campaigns, and creative opportunities where AM2’s catalog, artists, and custom music can be placed, • Pitch music accurately and strategically in response to briefs, creative conversations, and anticipated client needs, • Curate songs, catalog music, and custom compositions for trailers, feature films, television series, promos, and related content, • Coordinate projects from creative intake and music curation through licensing, clearance, and final approval, serving as a reliable point of contact throughout the process, • Maintain detailed knowledge of AM2’s catalog, artists, writers, composers, and custom music capabilities, • Represent AM2 at industry events, screenings, conferences, awards events, and client gatherings throughout Los Angeles, • Collaborate with the broader AM2 team on catalog strategy, creative briefs, custom opportunities, and cross-market initiatives across advertising, gaming, brands, trailers, film, and television, • Track outreach, pitching activity, opportunities, and placement results through AM2’s CRM, • Report on pipeline activity and placement wins through AM2’s CRM, • Share relevant market feedback and creative trends that can help guide catalog development and acquisition strategyWhat You Bring, • A genuine love of music and a strong instinct for matching music with picture, story, character, and campaign, • Minimum 4 years of experience in sync licensing, creative sync, music supervision, or a closely related role, • An active professional network within the Los Angeles sync community, including established relationships with trailer houses or trailer creative teams, • Demonstrated experience securing or contributing to trailer, film, or television placements, • Experience pitching both songs and production music across a range of genres and creative needs, • Working knowledge of music licensing and clearance, including publishing and master rights, standard licensing terms, and common fee structures, • A business development mindset, with the confidence to initiate meetings, expand a client base, and build long-term relationships, • Strong musical instincts and the ability to interpret briefs and pitch quickly and accurately, • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through, • A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams, • The ability to work effectively both independently and within a small, highly collaborative team, • A true go-getter who takes initiative, solves problems creatively, loves to get out and meet people, • Familiarity with DISCO and the Zoho or other related CRM platform is a plus, • Must be based in the Los Angeles areaWhy AM2 AM2 is a growing creative sync division backed by the experience, catalog, and infrastructure of an established independent publisher. As part of a small, focused team, you’ll work closely with leadership and have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to creative strategy, catalog development, and the continued growth of AM2.
