Summary: The Assistant Press Operator assists the Press Operator and Lead Press operator in the basic setup and maintenance of the presses verifying proper paper sheet sizes and types. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist press operators in setting up, adjusting, and maintaining printing presses to ensure optimal performance., • Load and unload paper, ink, and other materials onto the press, ensuring that stock is properly aligned and ready for printing., • Monitor print runs for quality, ensuring color consistency, proper alignment, and overall print quality. Report any issues to the press operator immediately., • Assist in mixing ink and maintaining proper ink levels for consistent color reproduction throughout production runs.
