Qualifications • Eligible to work in the U.S, • At least 5 years of experience in bus driver management and/or field supervision. Student transportation is strongly preferred., • At least 3 years of training bus drivers behind the wheel, • At least 2 years of experience in safety compliance, preferably in a school bus environment, • DMV 19-A Certification required, • Valid NY CDL (Class B) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements or able to obtain it within 90 days., • Bilingual: Spanish, or French or Haitian Creole highly valued, • High School diploma or equivalent. Reports all unsatisfactory conditions to the room attendant assigned and takes personal responsibility to ensure that actions are taken to remedy any substandard cleanliness or maintenance related conditions in each guestroom., • Assumes responsibility for the guest feedback and guest service scores in all departmental related indices., • Inspects monitors and maintains level of cleanliness in event areas, storage areas, restrooms and public areas and offices., • Compiles and reports accurate status of all guestrooms to the front desk department., • Works with the Security Office to enforce standard procedures for the acceptance, security and return on guest lost and found items., • Maintains productivity and labor cost goals., • At the direction of the executive housekeeper, conducts formal inventories of linen, supplies and equipment as required., • At the direction of the executive housekeeper participates in the ordering of supplies so as to maintain adequate inventory levels., • Checks all vacant rooms and spaces, public spaces, storage areas and rest areas each day., • Maintains departmental key control., • Maintains deep cleaning program., • Complete projects as determined by the Executive Housekeeper. Job Description The Role… At Soho House, a Public Space Attendant keeps all lobbies and public facilities (such as lobby restrooms, telephone area, the front desk and offices) in a neat and clean condition. The Public Space Attendant at Soho House promote a positive image of the property to members and guests and must be reliable, approachable, acute eye for detail and should also able to address guest requests and problems if they arise. A successful Public Space Attendant (PSA) trustworthy, organized, dependable and passionate about creating and tidy spaces with a great can-do attitude! Main Duties • Responsible for routine walk-throughs and ensuring the overall tidiness, cleanliness and maintenance of the Club, Rooms, Cowshed (Spa) and F&B Spaces (when applicable), • Maintain a clean and tidy property as well as stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.), • Assist housekeeping team with rooms, focusing on deep cleaning procedures, • Adhere to local and government compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe work environment for members, guests and staff by placing proper signage as needed, • Perform and document daily inspection and maintenance activities, • Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects that may include minor repairs and organizing the stock room when shipments arrive, • Proactive in notifying management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs, • Proper disposal of refuse as well as maintain storage areas and restock areas and back landing as needed, • Collaborative team member, also reliable to work autonomously and proactively as needed, • Adhere to health and safety policy (I.e. IIPP, worker's comp procedures, and allergy procedures) is always followed as well as implement, monitor and enforce compliance with all Company policies, procedures, and standards and local, state, and federal law as applicable, • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager Required Skills/Qualifications • At least 1+ year of proven working experience as a cleaner, maintenance and/or housekeeper, • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery, • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, • Detail oriented, proactive and positive influence on team and all other staff, • Flexible schedule and ability to work nights, weekends and holidays (when needed) Physical Requirements • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands., • Must be able to make periodical fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the property to others., • Must be able to move, pull, push, carry or lift at least 30 pounds., • Must be able to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb is required., • Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping., • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
