About Motor Works West Motor Works West is a family-owned European specialty shop working exclusively on BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Porsche. We're looking for an experienced Service Advisor who is genuinely great with customers and eager to grow with us. This is a commission position with no cap. An experienced advisor at our shop typically earns $90,000 to $120,000 per year. No complicated formulas, no tiers to decode — the pay structure is simple and transparent, and you'll always know exactly where you stand. Key Responsibilities • Manage customer communication and the service experience from initial contact through final payment, • Review technician inspections and Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs), organize findings, and clearly explain recommended repairs to customers, • Prepare and review repair orders and estimates for accuracy, including parts pricing, • Present repair recommendations, answer customer questions, and sell needed automotive services and repairs, • Source and order parts as needed to support repair workflow, • Keep customers updated by phone, text, email, messaging platforms, and in-person communication, • Handle customer follow-up, callbacks, payments, and day-to-day front-office responsibilities, • Build customer relationships and support long-term retention Qualifications • 3+ years of automotive Service Advisor experience preferred, • Strong automotive sales skills and confidence presenting repair recommendations and asking for the sale, • Ability to understand repair estimates, parts pricing, and gross profit, • Strong customer communication, organization, and follow-through, • Comfort working with Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) and modern shop technology, • Independent repair shop experience is highly preferred, • BMW, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, or other European automotive experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits • 100% commission-based compensation tied to weekly gross profit, • Estimated annual earning potential of approximately $50,000–$200,000+, depending on performance, sales ability, and production; actual earnings vary and are not guaranteed, • Medical insurance, • Dental insurance, • Vision insurance, • Paid time off, • Employee discounts, • Uniforms provided, • Training and professional development Why Work Here Motor Works West is a high-volume European specialty repair shop with an average repair order of approximately $1,700, with recent weeks reaching approximately $2,200.
