What You'll Do In this role, you will: • Perform repairs, maintenance, and replacement of critical aircraft components, • Conduct inspections, functional checks, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, • Diagnose mechanical and operational issues using specialized tools and equipment, • Repair or replace defective aircraft parts and components, • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and industry standards, • Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, manuals, diagrams, and maintenance publications, • Support airframe, powerplant, and A&P maintenance activities, • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation, • Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment, • Assist in maintaining mission readiness through high-quality workmanship and attention to detailRequired QualificationsEducation & Experience, • High School Diploma or GED required, • Typically 5+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience, • Related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education, • Advanced degree may substitute for some experience requirementsCertifications, • Active and current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification, • No prior FAA violationsRequired Skills, • Advanced experience in:, • Aircraft maintenance, • Airframe maintenance, • Powerplant mechanics, • Mechanical troubleshooting, • Diagnosis and repair of aircraft systems, • Ability to understand and interpret:, • Technical schematics, • Diagrams, • Blueprints, • Maintenance manuals, • Technical publications, • Ability to speak, read, and write English, • Must possess reliable transportation, • Must provide and maintain personal tools in good working condition, • Ability to pass and maintain Class 3 physical requirements, including hearing testing, • Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
