Job Description Position: Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMSW, LAC) Status: Full time, Exempt Full Time Equivalency: In office - Monday-Friday - No weekends Reports to: Owner/Lead Therapist Location: 1661 N Swan Rd, Suite 112, Tucson, Arizona Duties & Responsibilities: • Providing client treatment in a manner that protects client rights, recognizes, and respects cultural differences, promotes client dignity, individuality, strengths, abilities, privacy, and choice., • Providing individual, couples, education, and therapy to clients., • Providing intake and assessment of clients' mental health needs and developing personalized treatment plans., • Monitoring client progress on goals and objectives through staffings and document progress on treatment plans., • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health concerns., • Providing a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions., • Providing information about relevant community resources to clients as needed., • Delivering services in-person or via tele-med using conferencing technology, as assigned., • Participating in interdisciplinary staffings for clients with other team members as appropriate., • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure holistic care for clients., • Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards., • Following DAP format when completing client progress and client staffing notes within timelines specified by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners., • Ensuring client records are complete and up to date for billing purposes., • Maintain a consistent caseload by completing a designated number of client sessions within the approved schedule, as determined by the supervisor (typically 5 per day, not to exceed 6)., • Staying current with developments in the field of mental health through continuous learning and professional development. Responsibilities • Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions, • Assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans, • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, • Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients, • Collaborate with colleagues to support client care, • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, • Participate in ongoing professional development Required Qualifications • Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field, • Arizona licensure (LAC, LPC, LAMFT, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW), • Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, • Ability to provide couples therapy, • Must be 21 years of age or older Preferred Skills & Attributes • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of therapeutic modalities, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Experience working with diverse populations and a broad range of mental health concerns, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, • Empathetic, patient, and nonjudgmental approach to client care Schedule & Location • 8-hour workdays, including a 1-hour lunch break, • Monday–Friday, with appointments ending by 6:00 PM, • In-person position located in central Tucson, Arizona, • Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office · Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information and Company records. · Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Suite, internet, and EHR database use. · Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment. · Ability to convey a positive and professional image to clients and providers. · Dependable transportation, automobile insurance, and a current AZ driver’s license. • This role requires some experience working with couples., • Must be 21 years old or older.
