Job Description Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour Compensation & Schedule Pay Range: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM This is a full-time, on-site position within a distribution center. Occasional schedule flexibility may be required based on operational or employee-relations needs. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to provide hands-on Human Resources support within a fast-paced distribution center. This position will work closely with employees, supervisors, team leads, and management to support employee relations, attendance management, corrective actions, investigations, onboarding, HR compliance, recruiting, employee engagement, and daily HR administration. The ideal candidate is approachable, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with employees in both an office and warehouse environment. This position requires excellent judgment, confidentiality, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive employee matters professionally. Responsibilities • Serve as a primary HR point of contact for employees and management., • Support employee relations, workplace concerns, conflicts, and policy-related matters., • Conduct and document workplace investigations, including employee and witness interviews., • Monitor employee attendance, tardiness, call-ins, and attendance trends., • Prepare and administer coaching, written warnings, final warnings, and other corrective-action documentation., • Assist management with performance management and employee disciplinary matters., • Participate in termination processes and conduct exit interviews as needed., • Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding activities., • Conduct new-hire orientations and communicate company policies, attendance expectations, safety requirements, and workplace procedures., • Assist with I-9 documentation and maintain accurate employee records and personnel files., • Process employee changes, transfers, promotions, pay changes, and separations., • Maintain HR trackers and prepare reports related to headcount, attendance, turnover, corrective actions, and staffing., • Work closely with warehouse supervisors and management to address employee and operational concerns., • Maintain a visible HR presence throughout the distribution center., • Support employee engagement, recognition, retention, and attendance initiatives., • Assist with workplace incident documentation and coordinate with Safety and Operations when necessary., • Maintain confidentiality of all employee, payroll, medical, disciplinary, and company information., • Ensure consistent application of company policies and support compliance with applicable employment requirements. Qualifications • Previous experience in Human Resources, HR Administration, HR Generalist, or Employee Relations required., • Bilingual English/Spanish, • Experience working in a distribution center, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, staffing, or other high-volume workforce environment strongly preferred., • High school diploma or GED required., • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred., • Working knowledge of employee relations, corrective action, attendance management, investigations, onboarding, and HR documentation., • Strong verbal and written communication skills., • Excellent organizational and documentation skills., • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters professionally., • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel., • Experience with HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, or applicant tracking systems preferred., • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
