Location: Las Vegas, NV Travel: Required Position: Full-Time About Glow Motion Technologies Glow Motion Technologies is an entertainment technology company specializing in kinetic winch systems, custom LED systems, automation, touring productions, experiential activations, and large-scale live event technology. We support major concert tours, television productions, permanent installations, corporate events, festivals, and brand activations around the world. Our systems integrate motion, lighting, video, rigging, networking, and automation into unified production environments for some of the largest and most technically demanding productions in the entertainment industry. We are looking for a highly organized, technically knowledgeable, fast-moving, and solutions-oriented Project Manager to help keep projects aligned, organized, and moving from initial handoff through prep, deployment, and completion. The Role This is not a traditional office-only project management role. We are looking for someone who understands how live productions actually come together and can bridge the gap between clients, project management, design, warehouse operations, technical teams, and onsite execution. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in live entertainment or technical production and has developed strong project management, communication, and organizational skills along the way. Core Responsibilities Project Coordination • Manage assigned projects from sales handoff through completion, • Coordinate communication between internal departments, clients, vendors, and production partners, • Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, revisions, and outstanding items, • Help ensure every department receives the information needed to execute successfully, • Maintain visibility on project status and identify potential problems before they affect the schedule, • Follow up consistently and make sure important details do not fall through the cracks, • Coordinate changes in scope, schedule, equipment, labor, or technical requirements as projects evolve Client & Production Communication • Advance projects with clients, production managers, touring teams, venues, vendors, and internal departments, • Gather and organize technical, scheduling, logistical, and operational information, • Communicate updates, changes, deadlines, and requirements clearly between all parties, • Help translate technical information between technical and non-technical stakeholders, • Support onsite teams and project execution as needed, • Maintain a strong client experience throughout the project lifecycle Warehouse & Prep Coordination • Coordinate prep schedules alongside warehouse and operations teams, • Help ensure equipment, cabling, power, data, control, labor, trucking, and project documentation are aligned before load-out, • Review equipment lists and help identify missing components or potential integration issues, • Assist with project organization, packing coordination, truck packs, prep documentation, and readiness tracking, • Work closely with inventory, operations, engineering, and technical teams to keep projects moving efficiently, • Help confirm that the system leaving the warehouse matches the requirements of the project Project Execution & Crew Coordination • Support rehearsals, installations, load-ins, show operations, and load-outs when needed, • Coordinate technicians, local stagehands, touring personnel, vendors, and other onsite resources, • Help communicate schedules, responsibilities, priorities, and technical requirements to onsite teams, • Assist with labor, travel, trucking, scheduling, and onsite communication, • Maintain accountability and organization during demanding production schedules, • Help projects stay aligned during rapid schedule, scope, or production changes Technical Coordination & Troubleshooting This position is not expected to perform full-time programming, engineering, or design work, but the Project Manager must be technically capable of understanding how entertainment systems are built and deployed. Responsibilities may include: • Reviewing system layouts, production drawings, equipment lists, and technical documentation, • Understanding how power, data, networking, lighting, LED, automation, and rigging systems integrate together, • Helping diagnose and coordinate solutions for hardware, cabling, networking, DMX, Ethernet, lighting, LED, and control-system issues, • Identifying missing information, equipment, infrastructure, or technical requirements before deployment, • Coordinating the appropriate technical resources when an issue requires engineering, programming, rigging, or specialized support, • Remaining calm and solutions-oriented when troubleshooting under tight production deadlines Administrative & Organizational Support • Maintain project notes, schedules, spreadsheets, equipment lists, prep documentation, drawings, revisions, and communication records, • Help improve project organization and communication workflows, • Assist with internal scheduling and coordination between departments, • Maintain clear documentation of changes, deadlines, responsibilities, and outstanding items, • Help drive accountability and follow-through across projects Background & Experience We strongly prefer candidates who come from a live entertainment or technical production background. Relevant previous roles may include: • Master Electrician, • Production Electrician, • Crew Chief, • Technical Director, • Lighting Director, • Production Manager, • Touring Technician, • Project Manager, • Systems Technician, • Automation Technician, • Similar live-event technical or leadership positions The right candidate should understand the realities of touring, rehearsals, warehouse prep, load-ins, installations, show operations, and load-outs. Experience should include some combination of: • Live entertainment, touring, broadcast, experiential, or technical production, • Project management or production coordination, • Coordinating multiple departments simultaneously, • Reviewing equipment lists and identifying missing components, • Understanding how technical systems are physically assembled and deployed, • Managing schedules, deadlines, crews, vendors, and production requirements, • Working directly with clients and production teams, • Supporting onsite production in fast-changing environments Technical Expectations Candidates should have a working understanding of: • Power distribution, • Multicable and production power workflows, • Load balancing and power planning, • Signal flow, • Networking and Ethernet-based systems, • DMX, • sACN, • Art-Net, • Lighting systems, • LED systems, • Data distribution, • Rigging workflows, • Automation and hoist systems, • Show infrastructure, • Technical prep workflows, • System troubleshooting, • Equipment integration, • Venue and production safety requirements Experience with professional lighting-control systems such as grandMA2 or grandMA3 is a plus, but this is not a programming position. Experience with Vectorworks or similar CAD software is also a plus. At minimum, candidates should be comfortable reading and understanding production drawings, rigging plans, system layouts, and technical documentation. Safety & Field Awareness Safety is a fundamental part of every Glow Motion project. This role works closely with qualified technicians, engineers, riggers, programmers, and production personnel and should understand when an issue needs to be escalated to the appropriate specialist.
