Market Event Director – Georgia Social House Vodka Location: Atlanta, Georgia Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Field-based; evening and weekend availability required Territory: Atlanta and, based on experience, broader Georgia market responsibility Compensation: Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentive opportunity About Social House Vodka Social House Vodka is a premium American vodka brand built around bringing people together and creating memorable experiences. We are expanding our Georgia presence through hospitality, events, community engagement, university and alumni relationships, restaurant and retail activation, and direct consumer engagement. We are looking for a highly motivated Market Event Director based in the Atlanta area to help build Social House throughout Georgia. About the Role The Market Event Director will be responsible for building local awareness, relationships, consumer engagement, and account demand through high-quality events and market activation. The position will be based in Atlanta and initially focused on building the Atlanta market, including programs connected to the Georgia Tech community. Based on the candidate's experience, relationships, and demonstrated performance, the role may have responsibility for coordinating Social House events and Brand Ambassador activity across Georgia. This is not simply an event-planning position. We are looking for someone who can create opportunities, develop relationships, manage people, execute professionally, and turn events into measurable market growth. Georgia Tech graduates are preferred, but not required. Candidates without a Georgia Tech degree should be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of Atlanta and the ability to develop authentic relationships within the Georgia Tech, hospitality, business, and broader Georgia communities. What You Will Do • Build and manage a calendar of Social House events and activations throughout Atlanta and, as appropriate, across Georgia., • Plan and execute tastings, dinners, watch parties, retail programs, alumni events, corporate events, hospitality programs, charitable events, and community activations., • Develop relationships with restaurants, bars, retailers, chefs, mixologists, beverage directors, Georgia Tech alumni, corporate partners, event organizers, and community leaders., • Support Georgia Tech and alumni-related activations, subject to applicable partnership, licensing, and brand requirements., • Identify new event, account, partnership, hospitality, and community opportunities., • Recruit, train, schedule, and manage a dependable local Brand Ambassador team., • Coordinate venues, product, staffing, displays, supplies, invitations, setup, execution, and post-event follow-up., • Ensure every activation reflects Social House's brand standards and professional expectations., • Capture qualified consumer contacts and support approved Social House loyalty and community programs., • Coordinate photographs, videos, event recaps, cocktail concepts, food pairings, and other reusable content., • Support restaurant and retail account introductions, staff education, signature cocktails, menu opportunities, tastings, placements, and reorders., • Work closely with Social House leadership, Georgia sales resources, distributor partners, accounts, and market partners., • Maintain an accurate event calendar, relationship pipeline, Brand Ambassador roster, budget tracker, and follow-up list., • Provide timely event reports and participate in regular market-performance reviews. Georgia Market Responsibilities The initial emphasis will be Atlanta, including: • Georgia Tech and alumni-related programs, • Restaurant and bar activations, • Chef and mixologist programs, • Tasting dinners, • Watch parties and game-day programs, • Retail tastings, • Corporate events, • Charity and community programs, • Golf, gala, country-club, and lifestyle events, • Brand Ambassador activations For candidates with the appropriate experience and demonstrated ability to manage multiple markets and teams, responsibilities may expand to include coordinating events and activation programs throughout Georgia. What Success Looks Like Success is measured by more than the number of events completed. Performance will be evaluated based on: • Quality and consistency of event execution, • Relationships developed throughout Atlanta and Georgia, • Qualified consumer contacts generated, • New event, account, and partnership opportunities, • Brand Ambassador performance and reliability, • Quality content generated from market activity, • Menu opportunities, placements, and reorders influenced, • Repeat invitations and recurring partnerships, • Budget management and timely follow-up, • Overall contribution to Social House's growth in Georgia Qualifications The ideal candidate has: • Experience in hospitality, events, restaurants, field marketing, experiential marketing, partnerships, community engagement, or a related field, • Strong familiarity with Atlanta and the broader Georgia market, • Existing relationships in hospitality, corporate, charitable, university, alumni, sports, or event communities—or the ability to build those relationships quickly, • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, • Confidence conducting outbound outreach and approaching new decision-makers, • Strong organization and follow-up discipline, • Experience coordinating events, people, vendors, and multiple priorities, • The ability to recruit, train, motivate, and manage part-time or event-based team members, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Comfort using email, spreadsheets, social media, and basic CRM or workflow tools, • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout Georgia as required, • Availability for evenings, weekends, sporting events, and other important activation periods, • Must be at least 21 years old Experience in beverage alcohol is helpful but not required. Preferred Background Georgia Tech graduates are preferred, but not required.
