Job Description Join Our Team as a Bilingual Billing Coordinator! Location: In-Office | Department: Operations | Language: English & Spanish Required! We’re a growing transportation company looking for a highly organized go-getter with serious attention to detail and communication skills to join our Accounting team. If so, keep reading This role owns the critical process from load delivery through billing. It is a great fit for someone who loves organization, follows through relentlessly, catches small details others may miss, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone to get an issue resolved. What You’ll Do • Post-Delivery Issue Resolution — Follow up on accessorial charges, missing paperwork, rejected invoices, and potential deductions through resolution., • Accessorial Charges Recovery — Submit, track, and follow up on detention, layover, TONU, lumper, and other accessorial charges until approved, denied, or resolved., • Billing & Invoicing — Review delivered loads and supporting documents (Proof of Delivery, rate confirmations, and receipts) for billing readiness. Generate and submit accurate invoices to brokers and customers through portals, email, and factoring systems., • Load claims & Disputes — Manage billing disputes, deductions, and cargo claims., • Original BOL Management — Collect, organize, track, and file original BOLs from drivers., • Reporting & Recordkeeping — Maintain accurate records of billing issues, accessorial recovery, outstanding documentation, and unresolved items., • Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work closely with Dispatch, After-Hours, Safety, Drivers, Accounting, Brokers, Customers, and Leadership to resolve documentation and billing issues., • Process Improvement — Drive improvements to current documentation standards, workflows, and best practices as the company grows.
