Resident support • Conduct regular face-to-face support sessions with allocated residents., • Complete and review Individual Support Plans and Support & Move-On Plans within required timescales., • Maintain accurate support logs and electronic resident records., • Help residents develop independent living and life skills, including budgeting and financial management., • Assist with Housing Benefit and Universal Credit matters, rent arrears and benefit issues where required., • Support residents with education, training, employment, housing and move-on options., • Encourage residents to engage with agreed support plans., • Identify safeguarding or welfare concerns and escalate them appropriately., • Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality. Property and accommodation • Carry out regular checks of allocated properties, including communal, internal and external areas., • Identify and report repairs, maintenance issues, property damage and health and safety concerns., • Follow up reported repairs and liaise with the maintenance team regarding outstanding works., • Check that rubbish is managed and that fire exits, escape routes and communal areas remain clear., • Check that required property and fire safety signage is displayed., • Assist with move-in and move-out checks, including checking furniture, equipment and other property items., • Take photographs and record evidence of property issues where required., • Keep property inspection and maintenance records up to date., • Report compliance concerns promptly to management.
