Commercial Governance & Procurement Manager - Part time - Based close to Watford - £47,000 p.a. pro rata + Benefits \n Do you want to work for a business that has a hugely positive effect on the lives of its customers? \n Do you want to play a key role in the commercial growth and governance of an impressive, market-leading business based near Watford? \n If the answer to these questions is yes, then this could be an ideal role for you! \n We are working closely with an impressive, growing SME who are continuing to expand and develop their operation. We have partnered with this Company for a number of years and know a great deal about the impressive senior leadership team, their care for their people and their ethical approach. \n This is an important role providing commercial oversight across contracts, procurement, governance and the onboarding of new business. You will act as the commercial gatekeeper, ensuring contractual commitments are commercially sound, operationally deliverable and appropriately risk assessed. \n You will also manage the Onboarding Coordinator, ensuring new business is effectively mobilised and that appropriate processes, documentation and compliance requirements are followed. \n Your responsibilities will include: \n\n • Reviewing and assessing client, framework and principal contracts before acceptance.\n, • Assessing commercial viability, profitability, contractual obligations, SLAs, payment terms and liabilities.\n, • Determining whether contracts can be operationally delivered.\n, • Identifying and escalating commercial, operational or contractual risks.\n, • Working closely with Finance, Operations and Business Development to obtain appropriate sign-off.\n, • Supporting the development of commercial governance and procurement processes.\n, • Managing, supporting and developing the Onboarding Coordinator.\n, • Driving improvements across contract review, onboarding and mobilisation.\n\n The successful candidate is likely to have experience within commercial governance, procurement, contract management or a similar environment, together with strong commercial judgement and business acumen. \n You will need to be a confident communicator and negotiator, comfortable working independently and able to remain calm and pragmatic in a fast-paced environment. \n This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a senior commercial role with genuine responsibility and influence, whilst retaining a strong work-life balance. \n . \n If you are interested, please get in touch or send your CV ASAP as recruitment for this job opportunity is moving swiftly. \n . \n We do our best to reply to EVERY application! \n We have been candidates too and we work hard to treat you in the same way that we would want to be treated.
