By joining us you will be part of a progressive team committed to diversity, excellence and achievement.You will have excellent communication skills and will thrive from working in a fast-paced environment to support excellence in patient care.Main duties of the jobApplications are invited from enthusiastic, well-motivated Pharmacists to join our Pharmacy team at Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow.Full-time and part-time hours are available.We welcome applications from newly qualified or less experienced Pharmacists who will initially join as Band 6, progressing to Band 7 within six months upon completing all training competencies.While a Clinical Diploma is not essential, applicants must be willing to undertake it in the future.This role is integral to providing specialist clinical pharmacy services across admission, medical, surgical, community, women's, and children's wards. You will ensure the safe, effective, legal, and accurate use of medicines within each specialty. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.Our community services for adults are provided in people's homes, community centres, clinics, GP Practices, community hospitals and our main hospitals.
