Mpeople Recruitment are seeking an experienced Nationwide Driver on behalf of our reputable client based in Salford. Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week (plus overtime) Location: Nationwide (Salford based) Responsibilities include: • Delivering goods to customer sites throughout the UK, including locations across England, Scotland and Wales., • Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time., • Load and unload goods where required, ensuring all materials are handled carefully and secured correctly for transport., • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, allowing for traffic, delivery times and customer requirements., • Maintain accurate delivery records and relevant vehicle documentation., • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and customers at delivery locations., • Safely operate a company van in accordance with all road traffic laws and company procedures., • Be prepared for extensive nationwide travel and longer-distance journeys as required by the business., • Communicate effectively with the internal team regarding delivery schedules, route changes, delays or any issues encountered., • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies and safe working procedures., • Keep the company vehicle clean, presentable and roadworthy at all times., • Represent the company professionally whilst on customer sites and public roads., • Take responsibility for the safe transportation of goods and ensure products arrive at their destination in good condition. The desired candidate would have the following experience: • Full UK driving licence - essential., • Previous professional van driving or multidrop/delivery driving experience., • Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to support operational requirements when needed., • A good knowledge of UK roads and confidence driving long distances nationwide., • Good understanding of road transport regulations and safe driving practices., • Excellent time management and organisational skills., • Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach., • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively., • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude., • Comfortable travelling extensively throughout the UK as part of the role., • Willingness to work additional hours and overtime where available
