You’ll be part of a multi-disciplined engineering team, supporting electrical systems within a high-volume production environment supplying the automotive sector.You’ll play a key role in planned maintenance, fault finding, improvement work, and responding to breakdowns safely and efficiently, including participation in a 1 in 9 on-call rota.Key Responsibilities:\n\n, • Maintain and support electrical equipment across the site\n, • Fault find and repair breakdowns in collaboration with other disciplines\n, • Carry out Root Cause Analysis and support equipment reliability improvements\n, • Specify and order electrical equipment and consumables\n, • Support continuous improvement, cost-down and productivity initiatives\n, • Prepare basic design, test and maintenance documentation\n, • Liaise with suppliers and manage contractors on site when required\n, • Participate in a 1 in 9 on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support when required\nWhat we are looking for:\n\n, • HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)\n, • Strong electrical safety knowledge (PTW, Risk Assessments, Management of Change)\n, • PLC fault finding and programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens)\n, • Experience with AC & DC drives\n, • Ability to read electrical drawings and P&IDs\n, • SAP Plant Maintenance experience desirable\n, • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills\n, • Willingness to participate in a 1 in 9 on-call rota\nApply Now!If this great opportunity sounds of interest, please click apply to send your CV or contact Kirk at Pertemps, Cardiff.
