This is exempt under schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 Location: Chester Pay Rate: £13.50 £14.00 per hour + paid sleep-ins Hours: Full-time, Permanent (Includes day shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins) (Please note: Right to work in the UK is required. The adults we support may have autism, learning disabilities, mental health challenges, and emotional or behavioural needs. What you'll be doing Supporting Daily Life: Assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, personal care, and developing key independent living skills. Building Relationships: Getting to know our supported adults as individualsunderstanding their passions, sensory preferences, and communication styles. Promoting Community Inclusion: Helping residents access local community activities, hobbies, outings, and leisure events. Maintaining Safety & Wellbeing : Following person-centred care plans, positive behaviour support strategies, and safeguarding guidelines to maintain a calm, structured, and therapeutic home environment. What we're looking for No previous care experience requiredwe hire for empathy, reliability, and values, and provide full, paid training. Experience in adult care, mental health support, or customer-facing roles is a bonus, but a patient, respectful attitude is what matters most. Willingness to support individuals living with autism, mental health needs, or behavioural challenges. Comfort with personal care tasks and working a rotational shift pattern including weekends and sleep-ins.
