Reed Finance is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join their established finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and analytically strong finance professional to play a key role in supporting a significant development and investment programme. There is a requirement to be in the office only one day per week. \n This role sits at the centre of a large-scale new build and development function, providing financial oversight, appraisal and insight to support strategic decision-making. You’ll work closely with Development teams, Financial Planning and senior stakeholders, ensuring accurate, timely and insightful reporting across the programme. \n This is a highly visible role with exposure to Executive and Board-level stakeholders, offering the opportunity to influence key investment and business decisions. \n Responsibilities: \n\n • Lead financial appraisal and monitoring of the development and new build programme\n, • Partner with Development teams to evaluate new project opportunities and investment cases\n, • Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and reporting packs with detailed commentary\n, • Produce budgets, forecasts and long-term business plans, including development projections\n, • Provide financial insight, KPIs and trend analysis to support strategic decision-making\n, • Contribute to Executive and Board reporting, delivering clear and concise financial analysis\n, • Take ownership of statutory accounts, liaising with external auditors and advisors\n, • Monitor development spend against budget, identifying risks, variances and key drivers\n, • Ensure strong financial controls, compliance and reporting consistency\n, • Continuously improve processes, reporting and financial oversight frameworks\n\n About you: \n\n • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong post-qualified experience\n, • Proven experience in management reporting within a complex group environment\n, • Strong background in statutory accounts preparation and external audit liaison\n, • Experience producing Board and Executive-level reporting\n, • Demonstrable experience in financial appraisal and capital project evaluation\n, • Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial controls\n, • Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence and challenge effectively\n\n If you’re looking for a role where you can combine technical expertise with real commercial impact, please apply below. \n IND-NORTH
