Product Innovation Engineer Kent (Hybrid) £70,000 - £80,000 + Outstanding Benefits Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client seeking an experienced Product Innovation Engineer to help shape the future of mobility, accessibility and passenger safety solutions. This is an exciting newly created opportunity for an innovative engineer with a strong product development background within automotive, mobility, accessibility or safety-focused industries. Working closely with senior leaders and international colleagues, you will take ideas from concept through to manufacture while helping drive the next generation of industry-leading products. Why Join Our Client? • Competitive salary of £70,000-£80,000, • Hybrid working arrangement, • Enhanced pension contributions, • Private medical cover, • Life assurance and travel insurance, • EV scheme and on-site charging, • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, • Annual Christmas shutdown, • International collaboration and travel opportunities, • Clear progression pathway with future team leadership potential Key Responsibilities • Lead product innovation and concept development projects, • Design, prototype, test and develop new products, • Create robust, manufacturable and compliant engineering solutions, • Produce and develop CAD models using SolidWorks, • Work closely with engineering, R&D and testing teams, • Present concepts and technical solutions to senior stakeholders, • Support product validation and structured development processes, • Collaborate with suppliers and industry specialists internationally, • Contribute to future team growth and mentoring activities What We're Looking For • Significant experience delivering innovative products within automotive, mobility or safety-related sectors, • Degree, HNC or HND in an engineering discipline, • Strong prototype development and hands-on engineering skills, • Experience with 3D printing and product development processes, • Advanced SolidWorks CAD capability, • Excellent communication and presentation skills, • Leadership or team mentoring experience, • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally and internationally Morgan Jones is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
