We are working with, a global leader in biopharmaceutical research & development, to recruit a Research Scientist – Antibody Production & Automation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a pioneering organisation at the forefront of treating severe diseases in immunology and neurology. As an Antibody Production & Automation Scientist, you’ll play a key role in developing antibody-based therapeutics by implementing & operating automated workflows & robotic systems. \n \n You will be responsible for: \n \n\n • Developing & operating automated workflows for antibody & pDNA production and sample processing.\n, • Perform small-scale transient mammalian transfections and purify monoclonal antibodies using automated techniques.\n, • Troubleshoot purification and quality issues, interpret data, and propose creative solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality reagents.\n, • Lead and support the development, optimisation, and implementation of automated/robotic high-throughput platforms for antibody expression and purification.\n, • Apply data analysis and visualisation tools to improve workflows and troubleshoot bottlenecks.\n\n \n The ideal candidate will have: \n \n\n • PhD or BSc/MSc with significant post-graduate experience\n, • Proven industrial experience in mammalian cell culture (HEK, CHO) & antibody expression\n, • Experience with purification platforms such as AKTA or high-throughput technologies\n, • Practical knowledge of various antibody/protein characterisation techniques (HPLC-SEC, CE-SDS, SDS-PAGE, UV-Vis)\n, • Familiarity with pDNA purification process\n, • Experience with automation/robotics & machine learning for data analysis is highly desirable\n\n \n If this sounds like the role for you then apply now! \n \n Key words: Research Scientist, Scientist, Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, Antibody, production, cell culture, HEK, CHO, expression, pDNA, CE-SDS, SDS-PAGE, UPLC, HPLC, SEC, purification, characterisation, AKTA, automation, robotics, high-throughput, SEC, SDS-Page, WB, UV-VIS, Slough, London, Reading, Wokingham, Oxford, Cambridge, South East, VRS9511DT
