System Administrator \n\n • Location: North Somerset\n, • Job Type: Full-time - Site Based\n, • Salary: £35,000\n\n . We are seeking a System Administrator to work collaboratively with various business teams to ensure the security, efficiency, and reliability of all IT systems. \n Day-to-Day of the Role: \n\n • Infrastructure Operations & Maintenance: Maintain and administer servers, storage systems, and core infrastructure to ensure stability, availability, and performance.\n, • Server & Virtualisation Management: Manage virtual environments, configure virtual machines, and maintain host clusters.\n, • Networking & Connectivity: Support and troubleshoot network issues, maintain network documentation, and collaborate on network upgrades.\n, • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Administer cloud platforms, manage cloud-based servers, and implement cloud governance policies.\n, • Backup, Storage & Disaster Recovery: Maintain backup systems, test disaster recovery procedures, and manage storage solutions.\n, • Security & Compliance: Implement security measures, monitor vulnerabilities, and support compliance audits.\n, • Automation & Scripting: Use PowerShell to automate tasks and improve processes.\n, • Incident, Problem & Change Management: Serve as an escalation point for infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and participate in change management processes.\n, • Hardware & Resource Management: Manage the lifecycle of infrastructure assets and ensure proper configuration of physical systems.\n, • Project Delivery & Continuous Improvement: Lead infrastructure projects, evaluate new technologies, and enhance system reliability and efficiency.\n\n Required Skills & Qualifications: \n\n • Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.\n, • Strong commitment to customer service and high satisfaction levels.\n, • In-depth knowledge of Windows servers, networking, and cybersecurity.\n, • Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.\n, • Experience with Cisco network hardware, including Meraki.\n, • Ability to manage multiple tasks and rapidly establish good working relationships..\n\n Additional Responsibilities: \n\n • Continuously work on tasks until completion, prioritizing multiple open cases.\n, • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with company staff to facilitate necessary repairs.\n, • Research new technologies to improve business operations.\n, • Support other IT assets such as telephones and security cameras.\n, • Provide analytics and reporting to the business.\n\n If you are interested in this position please apply online or for more information, please contact me on
