As a key member of the management team, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement in our production processes. Key Responsibilities ✅ Leadership & Team Management Lead and motivate the production team, ensuring targets and deadlines are met. Oversee production planning, purchasing, and stock control to maintain smooth operations. * Manage staff rotas, annual leave, and workforce development. ✅ Operational & Process Improvement Implement effective purchasing strategies to maintain stock availability and cost efficiency. Continuously seek improvements in production efficiency and workflow. * Identify and address non-conformities, reducing errors and waste. ✅ Quality & Compliance Ensure quality control throughout the production process, conducting final checks before dispatch. Maintain a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures. * Support product development by sourcing alternative materials and components for cost and quality optimisation. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in a manufacturing or production management role. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Hands-on approach with exceptional communication and organisational skills. Ability to manage deadlines, stock levels, and production schedules effectively. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Proficient using AutoCAD.
